SUPPORT AND ADMINISTRATION

A key part of the group’s success, they offer the affiliates the tools and resources they need for their development.

Accounting, controlling, human resources, communication, information system and legal affairs all come under this heading and they are the cornerstone of the group’s business. They allow the other departments to focus on their own expertise and they contribute directly to the development of the affiliates and ultimately to the group’s success. Their role includes being actively engaged in improving performance, smoothing everyday obstacles and optimising costs.

ENGINEERING AND DESIGN

Engineering and design work out whether a project is viable and use their skills to drive innovation.

The prime aim of engineering and design is to take the customer’s ambitions, constraints and requirements and turn them into realistic specifications, while factoring in regulatory requirements. People working in engineering and design have to understand the characteristics of the end result and work together to come up with a viable project. These are jobs that need a bold, intelligent approach allied with a keen sense of discipline and a flair for innovation. The skills required would be particularly important for an Engineering Office Manager, a designer, a draughtsman or a design engineer.

The project manager is the person working directly with the customer and he or she represents the successful completion of the project.
